For home buyers looking for a home and community that the entire family can appreciate, the Ham Lake real estate market is the ideal place. Ham Lake is home to several natural parks where families and friends can go to play games, relax in the Minnesota breeze, have a picnic or enjoy their favorite sport. One of my family’s favorite parks is the 2.5 acre Idlewood Park. It offers picnic tables, multi use fields and playground equipment for the kids. Other parks in Ham Lake include Heritage Oaks, Fox Run Park, Lions Park and many others to explore.
For the more mature residents in Ham Lake, the Ham Lake Senior Center offers dining and activities throughout the week. Seniors can “drop in” to the senior center on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. for a cup of coffee and a roll with other seniors. Bingo is another favorite activity and many senior citizens participate in the fitness classes offered by the center. My parents spend a lot of their time at the Ham Lake Senior Center and it helps keep them interested in things they were not interested in before.
Ham Lake neighborhoods are rich in rolling greens and great natural scenery. Rolling Meadows is one of the Ham Lake neighborhoods and it is located just a couple minutes away from Viking Meadows Golf Course and the Rum River Elementary School. This is great for families with small children. Osborne Terrace is another popular neighborhood as is Heritage Oaks and Enchanted Estates. These neighborhoods offer quick access to several community parks as well as schools in the Anoka School District.
Whether you are looking for something practical and affordable or something more lavish and exclusive, the Ham Lake real estate market has something for you.
