Ham Lake is part of the Forest Lake School District. There is one school in Ham Lake - McKinley Elementary School - for grades Pre-K through 5th grade. All other students commute to the Forest Lake School District. In the School District there are eight elementary schools including Central Montessori Elementary for grades K-6th, two junior high schools for grades 7th through 9th and one high school - the Forest Lake Area Senior High for grades 10th through 12th grade. The Ham Lake Senior Center offers senior residents exciting events and opportunities. From arts and crafts projects to dances and serving the community, there's always something going on at the Senior Center. The Senior Center is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00a.m. to 3:30p.m. and Friday from 7:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. It offers dinning Monday through Wednesdays from 9:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. with lunch being served at noon.
